Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) : It is not a common side effect and is usually a pretty well tolerated medicine. If you are sure then stop the medicine and see what happens but your Primary doctor should evaluate irregular heart beat with further testing like and EKG. Also you may have what we call extra-beats this can happen due to coffee for example and is nothing to worry about.
