PVNS: Rare condition. Can be treated with surgery or external beam radiation or rarely intra-articular radiation, It does not seem to be an autoimmune disease which is caused by antibodies or immune complexes but rather overgrowth of tissue. www.pvnsdoctors.homestead.com lists doctors with experience with PVNS..Sometimes you have to travel if the disease is rare, to get care .
