Bleed: Depends what blood thinner. if antiplatelets, some prolonged bleeding may stop with pressue dressing. if taking Coumadin (warfarin) or its substitutes then it is serious. Bleeding may nor stop until effect is reversed. in meantime pressure dressing should be applied.

Lac with blood thin.: You will bleed due to the effect of anticoagulation of the blood by the meds you are taking. Constant pressure for 20 minutes and seek medical attention...
