Yes: Some people skin is so sensitive to sun exposure that it becomes red ,itchy blisters . You should cover your skin as much as possible when going out in sun ,use sun screen cream,big hat ,long sleeve shirt and long pant .

Toxic?: You may have a phototoxic reaction to the sun if no itching has been associated with the skin problem. Be sure that you are not talking any drug which may cause this problem (doxycycline, NSAIDs etc). Consult your doctor if the problem is not related to any drugs.
