Ulcer,salivary gland: Could be a number of things but if it consistently happens more often when you eat those foods and then it goes away or gets smaller in an hour it could be glandular. You should see your dentist or an oral surgeon If it stays sore for 7-10 days it could be an ulceration

Have it examined: Lesions that do not resolve on their own within two weeks time need to be physically examined to be diagnosed properly. Please call your dentist for an appointment.
