Several: Anxiety, stress, thin body, hyper thyroid state, lack of sleep ( rest ), other medications. If on BC, obese.....blood clot may be a factor. Caffine, any form, street drug, cold medication, anemia, Mitral stenosis of heart are also causes.

Light headed: you maybe having vasovagal symptoms where your blood pressure drops temporarily and you feel your heart faster and louder, however your doc should be able to determine that.
