Will avinza (morphine) work better than vicodin?

Depends: Both are opioids. Avinza (morphine) is designed to be taken once a day and is used for those who have long term pain. Vicodin is short acting and is used for acute short term pain. Whichever one you take you must follow your md, s instruction to the "t".
