No: The feeding in the middle of the night is secondary to the primary problem of poor sleeping habits. Pt probably tended to with the first cry, then would stop crying temporarily when offered a bottle, which made pt become hungry over time. You need to cut the food out slowly and then use the Ferber technique so pt learns to soothe himself/herself and go back to bed

Habit/separation: At that age they have no need to eat at night but if you offer it, the feeding clock re-sets and it will likely drive night waking the next night.Babies wine and cry at that age when they separate, because they realize how important you are to them and if they can't see you you might leave forever. Its a stage they can pass through if you let them. Offer only water at night until she stops waking
