A member asked:

Why do i have bloodshot eyes after gallbladder surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably unrelated: over 800,000 Americans have their gallbladder removed every year. Although certain temporary conditions such as diarrhea can be associated with the surgery, bloodshot Eyes are not a recognized complication associated with the surgery. If your surgery was fairly recent he could be lack of sleep or potentially postoperative medications, but unlikely that is related to the removing your gallbladder
