Dysfunctional bleed: The term we use is dysfunctional uterine bleeding. That is bleeding that does not follow the normal cycle. Using birth control can help, but many times it is a challenge to find the right combination of estrogen and progesterone to control your symptoms. Please follow up with your GYN doctor as adjustment to your regimen may be needed.
