How do blood counts work ex: if neutro are 64% and lymph 21% wbc 5.7 last test my neut 72% lymph 19% wbc 5.1 does it mean there is more neutro needed?

They tend to fluctua: Blood counts tend to fluctuate from day to day. So they will not be exactly same if you repeat them . But you have to tell us the reason who you have had your blood checked in the first place? History gives us as much or more information as the blood tests. So tell us the complete story as to why you are doing these tests??

Means nothing: If the absolute counts for both neutrophils and lymphocytes are both fairly close to the reference ranges, just be thankful for good health. Both of them fluctuate wildly even from hour to hour depending on something as trivial as a cold shower.
