Myotonic Dystrophy 1: from a mutation at Chromosome 19q13 has widely variable symptoms, It can be associated with a personality profile characterized by avoidant, obsessive-compulsive, passive-aggressive & schizotypic traits. Also depending on the # of trinucleotide repeats, a person with MD1 can also have age-dependent deficits in memory, temporal & frontal lobe functions. See mda.org. for information & resources.
