Wisdom teeth: Sharp edges where a tooth has been removed is usually the bony edge of the surgical area. Over time this will fill in with bone. Sometimes, however, the area needs to be smoothed down surgically. Check back with the surgeon who removed the teeth To make sure the area is healing properly.

Most likely edge: Sometimes there are multiple wisdom teeth to contend with but that should have been clear in pre-op x-rays. Socket edge bone can be sharp and is a more likely explanation. Get it checked out, preferably by the person who removed your wisdom tooth.

Sharp edges: in the surgical areas, it is likely you are feeling the bony walls. The good news is 99% of the time it settles down within 2 weeks or so.
