A member asked:

Does mucous in an infants poop always mean there is an allergy or infection?

Inflammation: Mucus is generated as a result of some irritation or inflammation. It may be as simple as providing a probiotic that you can get from a health food store. If it persists it is advisable to seek pediatric advice locally.
