Probably not: It is unlikely that Vistaril (hydroxyzine) would noticeably reduce your nausea. But if you get knocked out by its drowsiness effect, you would not be feeling the nausea as much.

I had a question about my son He's 20 He took promethazine for nausea. I gave him Benadryl about 4 hours later not thinking there could have been an interaction Do you think it will be okay It was the first dose of promethazine he's ever taken?
