?fungus--intertrigo: Intertrigo= inflammation under skin folds, often aggravte by heat, friction, moisture, maceration and alck of air circulation. At times it is infected with fungus (candida) and less often by bacteria etc..Keep area clean, dry, and use of antifungal topicals such as lamisil/itraconzole (otc) should help. If not, consult your doc for an eval and treatment. Good luck.
