Many foci: it means PACs from different foci. Severity depends on the cause. usually it is caused by COPD by smoking, CAD, HT, DM-2, old age, cardiomyopathy, Digoxin toxicity, electrolyte disturbances. And they usually lead to Atrial fibrillation. Must do a thorough w/u with a cardiologist.
