Spinal issue: from what you are describing it is likely that you have some type of lower back issue. This could be in the form of muscle spasm or disk problems. It is unlikely to be a kidney issue since those with not usually go away by lying down. Please seek the attention of a healthcare professional if it does not resolve soon.
