Focal scarring: I believe the labrum probably has some scar tissue associated with the original injury, and there is bound to be some scarring from the surgery itself. If there is no pain or limitation of range of motion, the noise should not be a concern, only a side effect of injury and surgery. If there is pain or a limitation to your use of the shoulder, see an ortho and get an MRI to investigate
