Not for hiccups: If your only concern is that your baby is hiccuping, it's nothing to be alarmed about. As the baby matures, hiccups become more frequent, or, at least, more noticeable. Heart rate of 148 is excellent. Unless you notice anything else unusual, just keep your routine OB appointment. I note that you are a 40 year old male. Congratulations! You're making medical history!
