Advise gyn exam: The cervix is the opening to the uterus, so, in addition to cervical problems, anything that causes uterine pain can cause cervical pain. If this occurs during intercourse, it may be "cervical motion tenderness". Contact your Gyno for an appointment so that s'he can check for infection, polyps and other gynecologic problems. My best wishes for a clean bill of health!
