Nothing: Cervical position only matters when you are in labor. There is no need to check it otherwise as is will not reliably indicate anything useful.

Sounds normal : Sounds like a normal description of a cervix. They usually are softer near someone's period. You're late though, are you trying to get pregnant? Check a home pregnancy test.
