Depends: It depends on what allergens you are sensitive to. An Allergist can help figuring that out. As a general rule of thumb: -Vacuum with a HEPA filter: good for dust, animal dander, mold, and other allergens trapped in carpeting (getting rid of it is better) -De-humidifier: good for molds and dust mites -HEPA/UV purifier: molds, animal dander, pollen that comes in, and other irritants.
