Mattress covers: The best treatment to avoid dust mite is to use zip-able dust mite covers on your pillow and mattress. Get allergy testing to determine the cause of your eczema (dust mite or other causes).

Doesn't work: What about air purifiers? They depend upon allergens remaining in the air long enough for them to be sucked through the filter. This works with pollen, molds & animal danders. Dust mite particles are much larger & heavier. They only become airborne when they're disturbed - like when your head hits the pillow. Then you inhale them before the purifier can filter them out of the air.
