A member asked:

Why does my period come earlier every month? it lasts about 4 days, the first two days are very heavy with excruciating cramps. i can barely function.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: A normal cycle length is any where from 21days to 35 or 42days from the start of one period to the start of the next depending on your source. Since most months are longer than 28 days,This means your period will come earlier in the month each cycle even if you are on birth control pills and have an "ideal" 28 day cycle. That being said there are still options for the cramping. See your doctor.
