Heavy Bleeding: it is not normal to have heavy bleeding a 4 weeks of pregnancy. You need to see you OB now or go to the ER for Evaluation. An ectopic pregnancy needs to be ruled out, this can be life threatening.

Symptom: Cramping is a symptom of many things, but it would not be unusual in an early pregnancy. Light bleeding or spotting is extremely common, heavy bleeding and pain is worrisome. If you are pregnant consult your doctor. Good luck!
