Enlarged Tonsils: What you describe are enlarged tonsils. Since you are having difficulty swallowing it is important for you to be seen right away.

Sounds: like you may have an infection. Common causes of throat swellling and malaise in a young person are streptococcal pharyngitis and infectious mononucleiosis. You should see a doctor in person for a proper exam. :)
