Several things: There are many things that can cause this including stress, thyroid disease, insulin resistant (including type 2 diabetes), polycystic ovarian syndrome,medications, and changes in your schedule, diet, exercise, or weight. You need to see your primary care provider or gynecologist for a full history and exam to decide which tests are indicated. Hope this helps.
