Okay: If you are 8 months post delivery there really isn't much harm that you can do by exercising lower abdominal muscles. It's unlikely that there is something wrong with your uterus and ovaries. If you had a Cesarean delivery there could be some scar tissue or adhesions that formed following surgery. While there is no imaging study that can determine if you have adhesions, an exam by ob/gyn will help
