"Spastic Colon": Used to be the "nametag" applied to what we now know is IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome" and that's what your stools sound like. Dry "pebble like" stools, mucous and "ribbon like" stools (spastic contraction of bowel) This is a "diagnosis of EXCLUSION" that is , more serious conditions need to be ruled out. See your doctor who may recommend a Gastroenterologist! Hope this helps Dr Z
