A member asked:

Went to the dermatologist to have her look at 2 hard small lumps on my abdomen. dr said too deep to tell, maybe swollen lymph nodes...what else?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bumps on abdomen: There are many things this could be, most are benign. The most common would be an epidermal inclusion cyst or a lipoma. The abdomen in an unusual place for a lymph node. There are several lymph nodes within the groin and the axilla (armpit) but not the abdomen. In women other things such as an endometrioma can occur as well as benign skin appendage tumor usually benign as well.
