Challenging...: IBS can be a very challenging condition to treat. It would be good if you had any tests done since this is usually a diagnosis of exclusion (other things need to be checked for). If all tests have been negative and your doctor feels this is definitely IBS there are multiple medications that can be prescribed for this.Talk to your doctor or a gastroenterologist for more recommendations in management.
