Personal choice: Marriage is a personal choice that should not be taken lightly. Make sure that if you do get married you find the right person that you really want to spend the rest of your life with. So many marriages don't last these days and divorce can be a very painful process for everyone concerned. Pre marital therapy can help u decide if you are compatible

It sounds like: you have mixed feelings about whether marriage is for you. This could be for many different reasons. Consulting a professional counselor or therapist, who doesn't have an agenda other than helping, would allow you to examine your feelings, learn about healthy relationships, clarify your goals and gain a better understanding of yourself. As Dr. Moranville said, it's an important decision.

Why Marriage?: Marriage means many different things to different people. There are personal, cultural, financial, and even spiritual reasons to get married. Of course, there may be similar reasons to NOT get married. Obviously there is no one size fits all approach. Some evidence suggests that married men are healthier than never married or divorced men. I don't recommend getting married for that reason alone.
