Unusual: It would be unusual if your period came three weeks after you ovulate. Gynecological textbooks maintain that the second half of the menstrual cycle needs to be pretty exactly two weeks in order for the cycle to be fertile. By this token, if there is no pregnancy, a woman would have to come on her period two weeks after she ovulated.
