Viral illnes: it seems that your infant is going thru a viral illness. for the nasal congestion and cough saline nasal drops and keep a humidifier closed to the infant. for the frequent stools may want o change the formula to a lactose free type and if breast feeding you may want to stay off dairy products until the process is over

First Cold: Poor baby! This does sound like a viral cold with the upper respiratory symptoms along with loose stools. Keep a good barrier cream on his bottom, and change diapers frequently, this will help prevent diaper rash. For the upper symptoms, he's too little for medicines just yet. You can try a cool mist vaporizer and even a steamy shower to ease the cough. This should last 10 to 14 days or so.
