Sinus Infection: Untreated, under treated, or even treated sinus infections can turn into "Chronic Sinus Infection" which could last indefinitely in some of the sinuses. Some require surgical drainage. I have had sinus surgery, believe me you do not want that surgery ( sorry my ENT colleagues) so if you are trying to forgo treatment of your sinus infection, DON'T!!!
