Dosing related?: Are you taking the propranolol twice a day? If not this could be the reason. Drugs like propranolol, after they leave your system, can cause a rebound fast heart rate. We call this reflex tachycardia. Propranolol lasts about 12 hours -- consider changing the dosing to twice daily.
