Possible Dyslexia: or other learning disorder. His brain has a hard time processing things the correct way. He needs to see a therapist who can help train him to see things the way the rest of us do. (. Maybe he I'd correct and we are wrong). Talk to his Pediatrician or Family Doctor about it, they can get you started on the right path.
