Keep watch: So far, you are probably okay but if possible being monitored by a doctor during diets if you have Hx of diabetic issues is really wise. Normal ketone in urine should be negative, but 8 is 'small' and may reflect your weight loss. It can raise quickly, and that can be dangerous - so do keep watch and have a doctor lined up. Also an ED specialist can help. Hope it goes well.
