No surgery!: Please don't start thinking about surgery. First steps are much less risky and may work well. Here's a good start: http://www.wikihow.com/Reduce-Water-Retention Do have a good exam w/ lab work as suggested there. Do drink sufficient water every day. Do eliminate bad foods and exercise properly. Try natural diuretics and ask pharmacist/doctor for ideas. Best!
