My son has complained about his neck area for 8 wks. he describes sensations of loose tissue movement. x-rays, swallow test find nothing. help!

Neck abnormality: Consider sonogram to evaluate thyroid and the surrounding lymph nodes also check TSH/free T4.. If that is negative consider MRI or CT of neck( but lots of radiation with CT? May also be from reflux or post nasal drip try Zyrtec x 7-10 days ,an if not help add omeprazole/ranitidine for reflux.before CT/MRI. .
