Bath: If you wanted to know when you can take a bath after surgery, it is better to ask your surgeon when it is possible to do this. Otherwise, if you just want to know when you can take one, generally it is when you need it.

GOOD BATH: The good way to take a bath is when you use soap to clean yourself all over and a good rinse followed by putting lotion to your skin to avoid dryness and itching.

Use common sense: Generally yes unless you have had so much alcohol with dinner that you are sleepy or that the meal you ate was so heavy that you are feeling sleepy. Feeling sleepy and a warm/hot is a bad combination. Use common sense.
