Possibly: Most mental health disorders have both a physical and environmental component. Sexual abuse could be one of these factors.

Possibly, but...: In my practice, in my experience, the vast majority of bipolar patients have not been sexually abused. Bipolar disorder is primarily a biologically inherited disorder which usually first appears in late teens or early twenties. You also say "it was suspected" meaning that you don't remember any abuse, which also casts doubt. Please get the best available treatment, which can be meds and therapy
