Is it true that it's harmful to heat food in the microwave using plastic containers?
My microwave-safe plastic container was deformed due to excessive heat, and I accidentally ate from it. It may have contaminated my food. I'm asymptomatic as of now. Do I need to worry about the long-term effects such as cancer, bioaccumulation, etc?
