Need more details: what was the initial reason for the MRI in the first place? If the radiologist and the ordering doctor believe the spot is benign and chronic it is probably best to leave it alone. If there are any concerns, a follow-up evaluation or consultation with a neurologist or neurosurgeon can be sought out. Good luck to you.
