It's not how many...: pills so much as how long is the half-life. This med's half-life is 12 hours. It takes 5.5 1/2-lives for anything to clear, presuming the liver & kidneys are fully functional. So, you're talking 2.75 days, not counting any active recognizable metabolites. Caveat: Long-term use may have caused a saturation of the drug in parts of the body - like a bank savings account- usually fat, slowing process
