Pregnancy test: very rarely women can get pregnant while carrying an IUD. this is unrelated to the fact whether or not the iUD may have moved. if your IUD is a levonorgestrel containing IUD (Mirena, Skyla) your period would be very light to not existent. at any rate a urine pregnancy test would indicate whether or not you are pregnant. To be on the safe side take two tests a week apart.
