A member asked:

Hi, can you tell me, what organs are affected by malaria?

All of them: Malaria parasite destroys red cells and causes anemia which affect all organs. Hemolysis can damage the kidneys and red cells infected with the parasite become sticky and clog the blood vessels in the brain. It is an important cause of death in children in endemic areas.
