A member asked:

Should i space out reglan (metoclopramide) from when i take the percocet? if so, how long?

No: You should be ok taking both together.. Reglan (metoclopramide) and Percocet work via two separate mechanisms. A possible concern is that taking both might cause some constipation or stomach upset, so I'd watch for those symptoms. You should be able to address the constipation with a fiber supplement.

Call your doctor : Space it out or do not take pain meds at all if you're on Reglan (metoclopramide) as pain meds can antagonize it's effectiveness on the GI tract. There's additive drowsiness effects making you very sleepy & tired. Reglan (metoclopramide) can produce tardive dyskinesia which is serious. Consult your doctor for best option and monitoring.
