Yes: Using that medication can cause a reflex tachycardia (which means decreased heart rate). Once you stop using it, it should go away. Hope you get better soon!

Bradycardia: The phenylephrine in Robitussin CF can cause a reflex bradycardia. While this is a known potential side effect of the medication, I would not say it is normal. Consider trying plain Robitussin or Robitussin DM (guaifenesin and dextromethorphan) if needed for cough symptoms, which should not contain phenylephrine. There are many potential interactions with other medications, too. Please be careful.
